When I was negotiating a new contract with this crowd of chanty rasslers I was assured that the 3 months free rental offered as part of the deal would not be affected if I then went ahead and purchased the new Value Line Rental package. I was promised that an email would be sent out to confirm this as proof. Needless to say there was no email, because it was a pack of lies. If you take out VLR you automatically lose any concessions on line rental already granted. When I contacted customer services to complain about the lies and deceit. I got a stupid email back saying: "We can confirm that you have not been signed up for Value Line Rental." If that isn't moronic I don't know what is!

I was with Tiscali before TalkTalk took over. Talk talk have been a pain in the behind and still are. But apart from a problem getting into my account to print out my telephone bills they are not too bad, my account is out of bounds and no matter what I try I can't access it at all, maybe I should ask a Hacker to have a go?
Customer support is poor to terrible, pretty useless as a matter of fact. I do wonder how long they will last, not very long if they don't start actually doing anything, except promoting what they haven't been able to and can't provide. It does work in a Fred Flintstone sort of way!!

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR TALKTALK, If I could leave 0 stars I would for everything! I had a fault that they could not fix, 3 months of hell, departments don't TALK to each other, broken promises, very poor customer support. You speak to a different person every call that is sometimes reading from a script and can't understand your questions. They don't know what they are talking about. They promised a refund, I didn't get it. Poor quality broadband, extremely slow if working at all, sometimes not even a dial tone! What a bunch of useless Muppets. DON'T TALK TALK, WALK WALK. I couldn't face wasting my time, being lied to and treated with contempt anymore so I went with BT :) My broadband is fast and reliable and my phone line is prefect quality all of a sudden, funny that isn't it?

Avoid Talk Talk and Pipex Very slow Broadband connection at peak times = evenings and weekends they use traffic proiritization so you get a rubbish service at these times .

Avoid talktalk at all costs!!! Firstly, they said it would be up and running within 2 weeks. After two weeks we called them up and they hadn't even processed the order. However they promise to process it and have it active within 2 weeks. This happened twice more. We Rang up and cancelled the order. For the next month they relentlessly pestered us trying to get us to sign up again. Then they sent us a bill for the service, even though went hadn't received anything at all. Now they are trying to charge us a disconnection fee, even though nothing has even been connected. Go with BT,they are a much safer choice
