I have two business broadband accounts with Zen Internet and earlier this year signed up for a webhosting package. Their server didn't like my favoured FTP program so I cancelled within the cooling off period and was told I would receive a refund. It has taken me four months to get the money refunded to my card. In the course of pursuing it, I discovered that there had been another credit on my account since 2009 that they hadn't refunded or offset against my monthly bills. This goes against legal statue but when I commented about this I got the impression that they believed their internal procedures were more important than the law. I also noticed that when I took up the hosting service I was not given the opportunity to view their terms and conditions. They were very defensive when I pointed this out also. As soon as the money is in my account I will be cancelling my broadband services with them.Wed, 27th May 2009
I manage 4 Zen Internet accounts. They have just taken money from my credit card for a website that was transferred to a new owner 2 years ago. I reminded them last month when they sent all the new owners details to me and they still took the money. This is fraud!
